Earley Town Mayor, Cllr Mike Smith attended the Promise Inclusion AGM on Thursday 23rd May 2024.
Promise Inclusion is a local charity that supports people with learning disabilities and their carers. This event was an opportunity to showcase their charity and all the wonderful work and achievements they have made over the past year.
Speaking after the event, the Mayor said “One of the great things about being Mayor is meeting groups like Promise Inclusion who strive to ensure that for those living with a learning or associated disability, every opportunity is maximised. They are keen to recruit more volunteers and fund raise to continue to support, create fun and care for individuals, their families, siblings and dependents”.
