Did you know Reading Buses offer a park and ride service to Royal Berkshire Hospital from Thames Valley Park & Ride and Mereoak Park & Ride?
The service runs around every 20 minutes from 6am and 7pm, Monday to Friday?
Thames Valley Park & Ride is located at Thames Valley Park, west of the roundabout between the A3290 and Thames Valley Park Drive. Mereoak Park & Ride is situated at Mereoak Lane, Grazeley with access to the site from the A33, just south of M4 junction 11.
All day bus tickets can be purchased from the driver at £3.50 for an adult and £2.80 for those aged 18 and under which are valid on all local bus services inside the simplyReading zone, including on buses which aren’t operated by Reading Buses.
Concessionary passholders can travel for free after 9am when departing Thames Valley Park & Ride, and in accordance with the terms of the scheme.
Parking charges must be paid at on-site payment machines. Multi day tickets and annual session tickets are also available.
