The Wokingham Volunteer Centre will be taking on the community transport role for Earley residents from the Earley Volunteer Driver Bureau, which had been unable to operate since the Covid-19 outbreak. Following a series of discussions with TWVC Trustees and in consultation with EVDB members, it was decided to close the EVDB Trust and pass the service to the Wokingham Volunteer Centre.
The Wokingham Volunteer Centre are now in the process of setting up a similar community transport scheme, with the support of a number of office volunteers and drivers from the former EVDB scheme, and hope to be able to resume the service in March 2022.

The Transport Desk is manned by volunteers, who help out on a rota basis, open: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm.
