The Town Council is sad to announce that Councillor Norman Jorgensen passed away on Wednesday 26th March 2025, aged 66yrs.
Councillor Jorgensen was a much-respected Earley Town Council member from 2003 – 2019, holding the position of Leader of the Council and was Town Mayor from 2007 – 2008. More recently, Councillor Jorgensen was elected back on to the Town Council in 2023, representing Redhatch ward and a member of the Town Council’s Policy & Resources Committee.
As a mark of respect, the Town Council observed a one-minute’s silence at its meeting on the evening of 26th March 2025 and our thoughts are now with Councillor Jorgensen’s family at this sad time.
