On Wednesday 27th November 2024, the Mayor of Earley attended the official re-opening of Austen House’s Memory Lane Community – Memory Lane Communities offer specialised resources for people living with dementia.
Speaking after the event, the Mayor said “I visited Austen House with Fraser, their therapy dog to celebrate their newly refurbished Memory Lane unit, this part of the complex helps patients with Dementia by providing a calm and safe space.
He added, “I was impressed by the enthusiasm and dedication of all the staff and met some lovely residents”.
