Let It Bloom June

We’re supporting Plantlife’s Let It Bloom June campaign!

Leaving patches of grassy areas to grow longer this summer allows wildflowers to bloom which provides vital food for pollinators like bees and butterflies and provides shelter for small mammals.

The Town Council have selected suitable spaces across Sol Joel Park, Maiden Erlegh Nature Reserve, Maiden Place Community Centre, Meadow Park, Mays Lane Cemetery, Paddick Drive and the Town Council Offices in support of the campaign.

If you can, why not leave a space in your garden for nature to continue to bloom – the wildlife will thank you later!
