Earley Town Mayor, Cllr Mike Smith attended the University of Reading’s Community Festival on Saturday 18th May 2024.
The Community Festival is a free start of summer celebration for residents of Reading and the surrounding local communities. The event had a jam-packed programme full of live performances, workshops, sports & well-being activities and educational talks.
Speaking after the event, the Mayor said “Saturday was a great event for the community at University of Reading. Lots of great music, food and stalls – some very original retail and others very interesting like the UoR Climate change activities and the Earley Environment Group. Look out for the date next year.”
