The Mayor of Earley attended the World Day of Prayer service held at Park United Reform Church on Friday 4th March 2022.
2022 is a special year in England, Wales and Northern Ireland as these ‘home nations’ had prepared the service for this year. The service is held throughout the world and is always on the first Friday in March each year.
The theme for 2022 was an invitation to trust in God in times of suffering. This was a particularly poignant service at this time as our thoughts and prayers are with all the people of Ukraine.
