Wokingham Borough Council has partnered with Woodley Centre Surgery to hold the Borough’s first Covid-19 vaccination pop-up event open to 16–17-year-olds. The event will take place on Saturday 14 August from 9am-12pm in the sports hall of The Forest School in Winnersh.
There will only be 220 doses of the Pfizer vaccine available on a first come-first serve basis. All adults over the age of 16 can come for their first or second dose. Those who have already received their first vaccination will need to have done so eight+ weeks prior if they want to get their second dose. They are reminded to bring along their vaccination card.
As queuing will take place outside, residents are asked to dress appropriately for the weather (bring an umbrella if it is raining and a bottle of water if warm), in case of long waiting times. For those coming by car, there is free parking available on site.
